The Minds Behind iRise EPS

Tachi E. Mieses

Founder of iRise Educational Professional Services.

A dedicated Special Education Advocate. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and Boricua College, with over 25 years of experience working with students and families in the New York Tri-State Area. This includes serving as a Parent Coordinator for the N.Y.C. Board of Education, ensuring fair and respectful education for all children, and as a K-12 Teacher with the Bergen County- New Jersey Board of Education. Originally from New York City, I moved to Central New York in 2020, where I’ve worked as an English Language Arts Teacher in Syracuse.

Fueled by a deep passion for children and a strong ambition to empower parents, and grateful to bring their extensive experience to iRise.
